Baby Shower Over Load!

Hello There!
I have finally had some time to catch up on my blogging and etsy shop. Not too long ago I started a baby shower do it yourself feature and I am back now to give you all the details! My mother, grandmother, aunt and I had a wonderful time planning and preparing these two showers for my cousin and her new little guy, Gage. Below are all the picture I took. Remember we had a safari themed shower with some orange, brown and green color inspiration. I will give you the details on everything from goodie bags to decorations. So please take look here at all the decorations...This was the snack table. We had set out with all kinds of goodies. I found really easy directions for those fun tissue paper pom-poms on Martha Stewart. They were super quick and fun to make. Everyone loved them. They were a hit! Try them out! I cut out the little leaves on my Circuit Machine. I sprinkled the little touches all around the house.

This was our little candy bar station. Because we had quite a few people at these showers we were having trouble coming up with a cute, inexpensive giveaway. We pulled together and came up with a candy bar. We filled cheap glass jars we bought from The Hobby Lobby with the soon-to-be-mommy's favorite candy and we asked guessed to fill little goodie bags for themselves. This was very easy and because we went to a bulk food store, pretty inexpensive.

This was one of our games we played. We found some colorful jellybeans at the bulk food store. We picked colors to match baby Gage's room and counted them. We asked guests to guess how many jellybeans were in the jar. The closest one got to take the jar of jellybeans home with them.
These are the baby banners that I made for the party and for Molly to later hang in Gage's room. The top one is simply cutting out triangles and gluing them onto a ribbon. I then cut out letters on my Circuit Machine. The bottom banner was made with my sewing machine, a long piece of ribbon and different size circles.

There is still more to come so please stick around!
xoxo SarahKate
