A Year in Review

Monday, January 3, 2011

Hello Everyone! I was just looking through all my photos and projects over this past year and I thought I would share a few with you. Here are some of the snapshots I took of family and friends.

I really started to dig deep to develop my photography skills. I still have lots of learning to do but I feel like I have gotten a good grasp on the basics and I am ready to take it to the next level. I am looking forward to this next year. I want to get my name out there and my voice heard. I am going to work on exposure and advertisement. Keep a look out for some up coming photo shots and new ideas. I have lots in store!

Here are some photos of the craft shows I participated in this year. I met so many wonderful people and learned some amazing things that will help bring in more interest and hopefully more sales. I just want to give a shot out to all the fellow artist that gave me tips, shared stories and answered questions. Thank you!
Here are some photos of projects and things I have created over the past year.

Yummy Fourth of July cupcakes with Fruit-By-The-Foot stars in the middle. They were so simple to make just roll out the Fruit-By-The-Foot and use a cookie cutter to cut out the stars and use the tooth picks to assemble them and then just stick 'em on!

Here were some decorations for the Fourth of July. This tissue pom-poms make fun, creative accents to any party. Plus they are so easy and expensive to make! Check out Martha Stewart for step-by-step instructions.

This past Summer and Fall my garden became a huge part of my life. I spent many hours planting and weeding. I was so excited my family and I got to eat fresh produce from our own backyard! I am looking forward to an even bigger garden this year!

Hi there! You don't know me but I'm a fellow blogger and Etsian. :) I found your blog b/c I am thinking about doing the Santa's Craft Castle show this year in Shelby and your pictures came up when I googled it. Did you participate in that show? If so, and if you don't mind chatting, would you want to email me? I'd love to get some feedback from another artist on what they thought about the show (as a customer or a seller). This will be my first show ever and I'm trying to do all the research I can. I really appreciate your time! PooknflipProductions[at]gmail[dot]com (sorry, I couldn't find a direct email for you on here)
