The Baby Shower Invites

Hello Everyone!

Here they are! My mother and I have been working very hard on these! We knew we were going to have to make quite a few of these because my cousin is having two parties. One for her and her husband's work friends and one for family. We had to make a ton--80 to be exact.

We had decided on a safari theme. My cousin has a safari themed baby room so its perfect! I got started right away with a design on Photoshop. I just love the little giraffes and the baby heart.

We printed that out onto card stock at 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches. We then rounded the corners with a corner punch (really easy to find, Micheal's or Jo Anne's $8-$9).

I then cut out a scalloped square on my Cricut Machine at 5 inches by 5 inches. To save paper and cut back on waste I also cut a square inside the scalloped square (I will be using these scraps for my Bottle Buddies and Plaques!)

Finally I stuck on some glue dots in the corners and antiqued around the edges. Each invite was accompanied with a Babies R Us baby registry tag and a sweet little poem we found online and customized. I hope everyone will enjoy these little invites. They were so much fun to make and put together. Please feel free to let me know what you think! Soon we will be finalizing the menu and I have already started on the giveaways and favors. Baby Shower Up Date

Hello again!

My mother and I are working very hard on our invitations. We have a design all picked out and ready for cutting and gluing. We are going to be meeting up with my cousin tonight so we are working like busy little bees! I will have photos of the invites up very soon.

In the meantime I have been all over the Martha Stewart Website looking for ideas and inspiration. I came across this baby shower check list. It is a great start to my ever growing list. And for a girl who loves lists it was perfect!

Do It Yourself Baby Shower

Hello!

My cousin and her husband are having a bouncing baby boy. His name will be Gage. His due date is June 10th, the day after my Birthday! I really hope he comes early so we can have the same birthday!

My mother, myself and other family members have chosen to give her a baby shower. We are a very do it yourself family. So we have decided to do it all. We are making everything from the invitations to the decorations to the games and the food. I thought I would share a Do It Yourself Baby Shower Tutorial with everyone. There will be no bones about it, I will be sharing everything about everything.

We are going to be putting on two showers. One of Friday May 14th and one Saturday May 15th. So we only have three weeks...but yet another thing my family is good at is procrastinating. But we work hand and always get the job done. We have a lot of work to do so lets get started.

Ladies Night Out Recap

The Ladies Night Out Vender Show was wonderful! I had so much fun setting up shop and meeting all the extremely nice people. This show was also wonderful for networking for me as well. I met some veteran etsy sellers with tons of great ideas. I also got a few custom orders. I should have photos of these items up very soon.
